I tweeted about these Dublin guys Hudson Taylor a month or so ago but listening back to them now it’d be a shocker if they haven’t been snapped up by a big or savvy label since. Their music is impressively self-assured and sounds ready for a mainstream audience by any standards. Alfie and Harry are 18 and 20 respectively, follow in the footsteps of Mumford and friends with their ultra-melodic folk, they have the looks and have an active fanbase set up and ready to support them. They’ve just released their debut EP Battles. They’re supporting Bressie soon and have done sessions with RTE’s Arena and Twotube. Oh, they are playing Hard Working Class Heroes too.
