Karla Chubb (Sprints)

Karla Chubb is frontwoman of the band Sprints. Sprints are one of the most exciting and talented garage punk bands to come out of the Irish music scene over the last few years. The band released their debut album Letter To Self in January 2024. The album featured several hit singles and was nominated for this year’s RTÉ Choice Music Prize. Sprints signed to UK label Nice Swan Records in 2021 before joining the roster of Berlin label City Slang. They’ve received significant airplay from BBC 6 Music with presenter Steve Lamacq being one of their biggest fans. Sprints are currently touring the UK before a busy summer of festivals awaits them.
