The BBC TV, iPlayer, Youtube and radio schedules for Glastonbury this year.
Lorde has already popped up for a surprise noon set at Glastonbury on the day her album Virgin is released.
Clara Amfo, Lauren Laverne, Huw Stephens, Jamz Supernova, Jack Saunders and Jo Whiley are among the TV presenters on the BBC Channels this weekend, while you can watch five channels of performances on the BBC iPlayer.
The TV coverage tends to focus on the big five stages for live broadcasts – Pyramid Stage, Other Stage, West Holts, Park Stage, Woodies and you can see from the below schedule that it’s the big headliners – Olivia Rodrigo, The 1975, Charli XCX and more who will dominate the TV coverage.
Neil Young’s headliner set on Saturday won’t be broadcast on the BBC as the Canadian grump didn’t approve it. Young previously slammed the festival as a “corporate turn-off” due to the BBC’s involvement and initially said he wouldn’t perform at the festival before changing his mind. Charli XCX’s set on the Other Set is broadcast instead.
Arguably the biggest story in music in the lead up to the festival was Kneecap’s appearance at Glastonbury, with the revelation that a private letter signed by international booking agents had attempted to put pressure on Glastonbury organisers to cancel the band’s performance, after their recent terrorism charge and broadcast of Palestinian solidarity at Coachella in April.
Despite the festival showing support for Kneecap in the wake of Starmer saying the BBC shouldn’t show the band’s set, that’s what has transpired.
The BBC will not show the band’s set on TV, not really a surprise for an organisation that has shown some strong Israeli bias since the genocide began. Presumably their set will stream on iPlayer though.
Kneecap play West Holts Stage at 4pm on Saturday.

Who are the Irish acts flying the flag?
Online – iPlayer
Over 90 hours of performances from Worthy Farm will stream on iPlayer with the five main stages – Pyramid, Other, West Holts, Woodsies and The Park.
Pyramid Stage sets will be available to stream live in Ultra High Definition and in British Sign Language.
To watch the festival coverage on you’ll have to have UK-only access to stream each of the live channel streams on the BBC iPlayer.
Of course those outside the UK need a really good VPN to be able to watch the online coverage.
