  •  Jape performing Cosmosphere (2003) and Ritual (2008) Sunday 14th September 8pm
  • Pillow Queens performing In Waiting (2020) Tuesday 21st October 8pm

Jape began as the solo moniker of Richie Egan – formerly of Redneck Manifesto – and has evolved over the past 6 years into one of the most exciting live acts in Europe. Cosmosphere, Jape’s beloved first full-length album, marked a significant step forward in Egan’s artistic evolution, showcasing a raw, introspective sound. In contrast, Ritual — widely regarded as Jape’s most critically acclaimed album — erupts with energy and confidence. The track ‘Floating’ from Ritual was covered by The Raconteur’s Brendan Benson, which led to Jape supporting the band on a slew of global dates.  A winner of the Choice Music Prize, Ritual cemented Jape as a major force in Irish indie and electronic music. The band are currently finishing their 4th studio album in Sweden.

After forming in 2016, Pillow Queens released a series of well-received singles before breakthrough debut In Waiting. Since then, they have received much acclaim from domestic, UK and American press, played numerous sold-out gigs at home and abroad and even appeared on James Corden’s US TV show. After signing with Canada’s Royal Mountain Records, they released a follow-up album, Leave the Light On in 2022, touring the UK, US and Europe extensively, including shows at Austin’s SXSW and supporting Phoebe Bridgers in Glasgow. Their most recent album is the revered Name Your Sorrow (2024).
