Eurosonic, the annual new music showcase and conference festival that takes place in Groningen in the Netherlands this week.
Taking place January 15th to 18th, 12 Irish acts are among the European and UK acts showcasing to the European music industry.
The Irish acts including rising songwriter Dove Ellis who released his debut album in December to acclaim, the Californian/Irish bluegrass folk duo DUG!, major label large-fanbase beckoning indie band Florence Road, rising trad folk act Madra Salach, Child Of Prague with their Irish take on midwest emo, Dublin rapper Curtisy, alt-rockers Basht, viral-moment haver MOIO, Wah Wah Wino associate Officer John, cabaret-leaning songwriter SexyTadhg, industrial electro trio Bucket and Gilla Band side-project The Null Club.
Northern Irish acts Odhran Murphy and Mount Palomar are also playing on a separate NI funding strand making the total from the island 14.
