Gryphon Halley, who runs a Chicago music publication of the same name Roadhouse Magazine wants to speak to you.
Halley came across this Irish music magazine Roadhouse in the Web Archive and is seeking to find anyone associated with it.
Roadhouse was active in the early 2000s and did interviews with acts like Republic of Loose, The Rags, Channel One and covered The Urges, Delorentos, The Mighty Stef, Morello, The Chakras, Humanzi – some acts that were very active in the Irish indie scene of that time, and some artists that are still involved in music.

The site was active until early 2006 or so – just after Nialler9 started. A site like Cluas is still available in archive form but this one is long gone but Halley is looking to get in touch with someone from the publication.
Halley says:
Recently, I was creating a promotional post for our website and came across an archived site (20 years defunct) called Roadhouse Mag, which covered Belfast/Dublins alt/punk unsigned artist scene. I found interviews, reviews, photography. Almost identical to what we cover here in Chicago, 20 years later.
I posted on Reddit looking for any leads of folks who may know who ran the old music blog, and I was encouraged to reach out to you directly. I guess my ultimate goal is to find who previously ran the magazine in hopes of archiving the music scene that they documented during that time. I would hate for the work they’ve done for the music scene to be lost to the Wayback machine.
If you have any information about this site (it vaguely rings a bell) will you get in touch? If the names Kevin Coleman, Declan Gaffney, and Ciaran Maher mean anything to do you leave us a comment below, email me on [email protected] or get onto Gryphon on Instagram.
