Best New Gigs: Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band, Boko Yout, Antal, Margaret Glaspy, Gold Panda & more

Some recent gig announcements from the Irish live circuit.

Lowlight is a new live listening series from Sleepover Club, launched at Arthur’s Blues & Jazz on Tuesday July 2nd. The format is artists presenting new or unreleased music in an intimate setting for a small audience – the kind of room where things happen before they get talked about. First edition details.

SIGNS returns for a daytime outdoor party at The Sugar Club on Saturday July 11th – open air, DJs, live electronic music and food. Amsterdam’s Mendel headlines, with UWM and Crispy Jason both playing live. Limited €10 early tickets still available via Eventbrite.

Antal plays Fidelity Studio on Friday June 26th. The Amsterdam DJ and Rush Hour Records co-founder has spent decades refining an encyclopaedic musical knowledge that moves through Chicago and Detroit house, Afro funk, leftfield disco and obscure rhythm tracks pulled from every corner of his collection. Rush Hour’s record store, label and crate-digging ethos have shaped contemporary dance music culture more than most. Tickets via antalfidelity.eventbrite.ie.

Prosumer plays Fidelity Studio on Friday July 17th, all-night-long. One of the key figures in shaping the sound of Berghain’s Panorama Bar over the past two decades, his sets draw deeply from Chicago house and Detroit techno with the instinct and intuition that comes from decades behind the decks. A regular at Homobloc, Block9, NYC Downlow and Love International. Tickets via prosumerfidelity.eventbrite.ie

Based Festival #9 returns to Button Factory on Sunday June 28th for another all-ages afternoon of new Irish music. Organised by Fluttertone, it’s one of the better showcases of emerging acts in Dublin. Eventbrite

Declan O’Rourke’s film debut Almost With You has its world premiere at Galway Film Fleadh on Thursday July 9th at the Town Hall Theatre, Galway. The film, which O’Rourke also scores, marks a significant step for one of Ireland’s most enduringly underrated songwriters. The World Premiere of Almost With You takes place at Galway Film Fleadh on 9 July 2026. Echo is released on 3 July, with O’Rourke’s new album Oceanic following on 16 October ahead of a nationwide Irish tour this autumn: www.declanorourke.com

Honeypot have announced their Pride party – event 022 for the all-FLINTA Dublin club night, with 9 DJs and a lineup headlined by Lolz and SexyTadhg. Pride weekend, late June. Tickets and full details.

Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band play Grand Social, Dublin on Tuesday September 15th, presented by Foggy Notions – their first Irish headline show. The Louisville artist supports Kurt Vile at Vicar Street the night before, and warm, road-worn Americana that sits in its own unhurried lane deserves a headline of its own. Tickets on sale now via foggynotions.ie.

Fatboi Sharif plays Bello Bar, Dublin on Monday August 31st. The Newark rapper and producer – who has worked extensively with Roc Marciano and has a discography that rewards time spent with it – makes his Irish debut. Tickets €17 plus fees, on sale now via singularartists.ie.

Sei Green headline The Grand Social on Friday September 11th, presented by Selective Memory. Dublin duo Ellen and Adam’s sound is built on psychedelia, deep basslines and reverb-heavy vocals, and this is their biggest headline to date – love these guys. Tickets.

Deafkids play Bello Bar, Dublin on Friday October 16th, presented by Enthusiastic Eunuch. The São Paulo duo have been described by The Quietus as “sonically both battlefield and zone of ecstatic, cathartic release” – noise-punk, psychedelia and Brazilian rhythms colliding at volume. Tickets on sale now.

Adult DVD are heading out on an Irish headline tour in November: Grand Social Dublin (Wednesday November 25th), Ulster Sports Club Belfast (Thursday November 26th), Róisín Dubh Galway (Friday November 27th). The band are newly signed to Fat Possum. Tickets on sale today Thursday June 4th at 10am via singularartists.ie.

Boko Yout headlines The Grand Social on Sunday November 15th. The Stockholm-based project, fronted by Paul Adamah is returning to Dublin after a packed out set in The Workman’s Club at Borderline. Tickets €20 including fees, on sale tomorrow Friday June 5th at 10am via singularartists.ie and Ticketmaster.

Margaret Glaspy does a three-date Irish tour in October: Cyprus Avenue Cork (Monday October 26th), Dolan’s Upstairs Limerick (Tuesday October 27th), The Deer’s Head Belfast (Wednesday October 28th). The New York singer-songwriter has been one of the more quietly consistent alternative voices since her 2016 debut Emotions and Math, and an Irish visit in intimate venues is well overdue. New album I Am Both is out in August. Tickets €17-€17.50 plus fees, on sale tomorrow Friday June 5th at 10am via singularartists.ie.

Gold Panda plays Grand Social on Friday January 29th 2027, presented by Foggy Notions. Derwin Schlecker’s warm, sample-based electronica remains some of the best of its kind – Lucky Shiner came out 15 years ago and still sounds quietly extraordinary and new single ‘Ding The Motor’ has a much harder edge than you’d expect. Presale on now via foggynotions.ie, general on sale Friday.

DMA’s play The Academy, Dublin on Saturday February 20th 2027, as part of a UK and Ireland tour. The Sydney indie rock trio have been delivering arena-sized hooks in mid-sized rooms for a decade now. Tickets on sale soon via Ticketmaster.

19 February – Limelight, Belfast, Northern Ireland
20 February – The Academy Dublin, Dublin, Republic of Ireland
