The Ivor Novello Rising Star winner plays Dublin next year.
Master Peace is coming to The Workman’s Club in Dublin on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2027. The London artist, who grew up between south-east London and Surrey, mixes raucous indie sleaze and punk energy with grime and rap. He is on the road behind his second album, If I Don’t Love You, Who Will?, which came out on October 2nd.
Who is Master Peace?
Born Peace Okezie, he took in everything from Skepta and Giggs to The Kooks, Bloc Party and Vampire Weekend growing up, and he has never settled into one scene. His 2024 debut album, How To Make A Master Peace, won him the Ivor Novello Rising Star Award. He has played Glastonbury, toured with Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian, Bastille and Mike Skinner, headlined in the US and supported 5 Seconds of Summer around Europe.
Earlier this year he released the Stupid Kids EP, a personal record about identity, neurodivergence and being underestimated. The new album was introduced by the singles ‘Love Hate’ and ‘ONE Of ONE’, and he has worked with the producers and songwriters Dan Carey and Julian Bunetta. He also runs a grassroots initiative called There’s No More Underground.
Tickets are €20 including booking fees and go on sale on Friday, October 16th at 11am via singularartists.ie and Ticketmaster.ie.
