Atmosfolk duo Saint Sister, Gemma Doherty and Morgan MacIntyre are one of the best new Irish bands of the last year.
Through their self-titled debut EP and a series of fine performances, most recently at SXSW in Texas and The Ray D’Arcy Show on TV last weekend, they have captivated people with their harmonic harp folk music.
‘Blood Moon’ is my favourite of the Saint Sister songs so far. While the pair are in Kerry right now to record EP number two with producer and Hozier bassist Alex Ryan, they have shone extra light on the song with a new video directed and produced by Myrid Carten & Aphra Lee Hill and starring Meabh Parr & Emma White.
