The song of the summer is a hotly-contested accolade, crowned by an unspoken agreement across cultural, national and societal divides. Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa’s ‘One Kiss’ is likely the pop song of the summer but in dance circles, the clear winner across the dancefloor is Dublin’s own Dec Lennon aka Krystal Klear and his track ‘Neutron Dance’.
The song is a propulsive and jaunty electro-stomper has crowds across Europe singing its instrumental hook. It’s not ‘Inspector Norse’ levels but it’s the closest anyone has got in a while from my perspective.
A video for the song dropped today shows the sights and sounds of Lennon’s home of New York City.
