This past weekend was one of the busiest in Ireland for music festivals with Castlepalooza, Indiependence, Beatyard and All Together Now (more on that later) happening across the whole weekend. So bizarrely, Electric Picnic decided the time when a lot of their audience was maybe off to another festival or going on a long weekend was the perfect time to announce the rest of their lineup. On a Friday of a bank holiday. Not ideal for coverage. So here’s the news, dropped on Friday (to annoy other festivals?) and shared on a Tuesday.
