As featured recently here with the Detroit electro-bodying single with pop flavour ‘Stuck In Love’, London-based DJ/producer and queer clubbing champ Absolute. is starting 2023 with more rave energy in the form of new song ‘Voices’, out on Skint Records now.
2022 saw the producer on the club and festival circuit, including a remix of George Michael, an Essential Mix debut recorded at Glastonbury, a cover of Gay Times Amplify, and a Crack Magazine mix to name a few.
To mark the artist’s start of the year, Absolute. put together a list of rave tracks with plenty of Irish selections included, as a shout out to the country’s fervent dance music scene, Absolute.’s set at Forbidden Fruit last year and family connections to Ireland.
“Ireland has such a special place in my heart, my sister, and dad both live there and I’ve had some of my favourite gigs of my life in Dublin. When the crowds are as rowdy as I am, we’re usually onto a winner.“

Bushwankaz
Action
I opened my set with this at Forbidden Fruit last year and from the moment the bass came in the entire place erupted and I don’t think the energy stopped the entire set. It was easily one of my favourite sets last year and Dublin is my hands down favourite city to play in the world. My brother and sister live in Ireland too so it was special for them to come and see me play for the first time.

Enter The Dragon
I’ve been a supporter of Blk. since discovering his track ‘I need a boiler room‘, which I played in my Mixmag Lab and this one never fails to cause absolute scenesssssss!
3.
Tommy Holohan & X Coast
I Love U (boss mix)
One of my fav artists X Coast teams up with Irishman Tommy and it’s the perfect mix of 90’s techno roller and fun energy.

Voices
The first time I ever played this was at Forbidden Fruit and at that moment I knew I needed to release it, because even though no one had ever heard it, it created a real emotional moment in my set.
5.
Hammer House
The Jumper (Mass Medium Remix)
A staple in my sets all last summer, this is the one that always creates peak energy moments and is the epitome of the old bouncy hard house euro sound.
6.
KETTAMA
Higher
Another Irish native and pal, played so many of his tunes but this one is probably my most played, euphoric vocal chops and booming kicks are one of my favourite combos.
7.
AK SPORTS
West Coast (Power Mix)
Chunky banging energy with a rave edge is something I can play all day long. AK is such a talent, also check out ‘If I Had A’ which bangs too. We just worked on some music together and have a banger coming out soon 🙂
8.
Sally C
Nasty
Love Sally and play her in most of my sets, this one is one I always reach for.
9.
ABSOLUTE.
Piano Theory
I heard Mall Grab playing this again recently when we played a festival together and it reminded me how much it bangs so I’ve pulled it back out again!
