Aphex Twin – Selected Ambient Works Volume II expanded edition announced

An expanded edition of the classic electronic ambient album is out on October 4th on Warp Records, and features vinyl-only track ’19’.

Selected Ambient Works Volume II expanded edition marks 30 years of the classic Richard D James album and will be available as 4LP set, 3CDs, cassette and a special 4LP Box set priced at around €350 and housed in a hinged oak case with a bespoke chemical etched and eroded copper plate and engraved logo with paint infill.

The regular version LP costs €58.99.

This expanded version of the album features arguably one of Aphex Twin’s most beautiful songs – ’19’, previously only a vinyl release.

4LP Box (Pre-Order Closes 23 June, 2024)
Black 4LP vinyl in polylined inner sleeves, printed 3mm spine outer sleeves, fold out poster, sticker sheet and booklet containing development sketches for the original artwork concept by designer Paul Nicholson. All housed in a hinged oak case with a bespoke chemical etched and eroded copper plate and engraved logo with paint infill. Limited pre order window. Made to order. This edition will not be repressed.

4LP Standard
Black 4LP vinyl in polylined inner sleeves, in foil blocked wide spine outer sleeve, fold out poster and sticker insert.

3CD
3CD in foil blocked case bound sleeve with booklet.

2CS
Double cassette on chrome tape stock, in clear double stacked cassette box with printed inlay.
