AVA Festival adds Partiboi69, Skin On Skin, Sally C, Piri & Tommy & visual artists to 2022 edition

After announcing its big headliners for AVA this year – including Bicep, Jon Hopkins, Mura Masa, Overmono, Biig Piig, Soichi Terada, Logic1000, Ross From Friends – festival has added four new acts – Berlin-based Belfast DJ and producer Sally C, Australian ghetto house and green screen lover DJ Partiboi69, Australian tech-house producer Skin On Skin and drum ’n’ bass duo Piri & Tommy.

As the V is AVA stands for visual, the programmers have also announced visual artists who will perform alongside the music – Black Box Echo (Bicep), Gray for Days (Ross From Friends), Dan Tombs (Jon Hopkins), Algorithm, Visual Spectrum, Wee Nuls and more, elevating these artists to the front alongside the DJs and musicians.

AVA Festival: 5 highlights from Belfast’s global electronic festival

These visual artists will work with the AVA production team, plus specific artists on the lineup to create bespoke visual shows just for the festival.

“Everywhere I go in the world with Bicep there always seems to be a little pocket of Belfast natives in the crowd bringing that unique energy, so Bicep shows in Belfast are always extra special. The atmosphere is so electric that we always feel hyped to pull out all the stops on these occasions. Performing this show outdoors in Belfast for the first time will be especially exciting.”
