Belfast noise-trio Chalk drop new song and video for 'Afraid'

The band dropped a new song ahead of the release of a new EP on Nice Swan.

The Belfast post-punk electronic industrialists Chalk are continuing their run of EP releases under the Conditions banner.

In October, we heard ‘Tell Me’ and today, ‘Afraid’ is produced by Chris Ryan, and is typical of the band’s brooding electronic industrial rock. It comes with a stylish prison choking incident video by Benedict Goddard (of the band) and Colin Peppard.

Chalk - Afraid (Official Music Video)

“‘Afraid’ captures the raw fear and exhilaration of stepping into the unknown, a reminder that growth only happens when you leave your comfort zone. It’s a reflection on the strength it takes to move forward.”

Conditions III, the final in the trilogy is released on February 21st on Nice Swan Records.
