I can’t say I’ve been overtly impressed with some of Bon Iver’s recent TV performances. I didn’t much rate the Bonnie Rait cover the first time around on Fallon and the performance of ‘Calgary’ on The Colbert Report was ruined a bit by Vernon’s almost-there voice and the faulty sax, so it’s nice to see upon their return to Fallon, ‘Holoscene’ does the song, and the album, considerable justice.
Update: ‘Skinny Love’ on Colbert was awesome.
