Canalaphonic returns to Rathmines & Portobello next week; here’s the lineup
The Rathmines and Portobello music festival Canalaphonic returns next weekend with a slightly different programme that doesn’t involve an outdoor stage (this might have something to do with it) but there will be over 50 acts playing across 14 stages in the area, kicking off with Culture Night on Friday 22nd.
The Saturday will feature followed a full day of water activities on the canal alongside Urban Markets’ Canal Bank Market Fair, a kids zone in St. Mary’s College, a small stage at Swan Leisure, literary events in Rathmines Library, pop up music and spoken word performances in our coffee shops, main Making Waves Stage at Whelan’s on both Saturday and Sunday, along with Copan, Blackbird,The Bowery ,Mother Reilly’s , Rody Bolands and Bernard Shaw.
