French avant-garde pop star Héloïse Letissier AKA Christine & The Queens has today revealed the video for her new single ‘Doesn’t Matter’ as well as sharing the release date for her highly anticipated sophomore album Chris, due out on the 21st of September.
The video is directed by Colin Solal Cardo, who has worked extensively with French music collective La Blogotheque in the past. Both it and the track itself showcase the pure creative talent Letissier has built her staggering success upon. Borrowing heavily again from 80’s era pop ballads, ‘Doesn’t Matter’ is a thrilling listen.
That’s to say nothing of her ability as a dancer, though if anyone wants a crash course they should watch this.
Christine & The Queens play the RDS on the 30th of November. Tickets are on sale from the Ticketmaster site for €54.50+.
The album will be released in English and French.
