Dear Desert – ‘Gift Above’
Dear Desert are a new Dublin trio who made an impact with their heart-on-sleeve ’80s pop debut track ‘Give It Up’.
Today, Brendan Millar, Richie Fenton and James O’Donnell dropped track two, ‘Gift Above’ which is built atop a bed of circulating synths, piano chords and rattling percussion and grows into bloom with Millar’s yearning vocals, bass and some underlying electronics. More atmospheric than your average. The band are playing HWCH in Dublin next weekend.
