Silo is the new club space at the RDS, that will operate at 3,500 capacity and kicks off in October.
The first night was announced as a Boiler Room techno night that runs from 4pm to 11pm on Sunday October 29th with current tickets priced from €65.70 plus fees.
As trialed previously, Defected Records are curating a night at Silo after last year’s Naas Racecourse event.
The gig has now been announced and happens on Saturday October 28th from 4pm to 11pm. Pre-sale is available now through the Silo mailing list and cost €59.85 plus fees from Ticketmaster. General tickets Friday September 22nd.
It does appear that SILO won’t have a late-night licence after 11pm.
The lineup includes Claptone, Route 94, Sam Divine, Alex Mills and Ferrick Dawn.
Defected Records is a UK independent record label known for house music releases, compilation albums, events and radio shows. That includes the brand Glitterbox, and recent releases from Todd Edwards, Bob Sinclair, Breach, Arielle Free, Rivastarr and more.
Last year’s Defected event featured Gorgon City, Vintage Culture, Sam Divine, Todd Terry and more.
SILO is the brainchild of promoters TEG MJR Eire who are working alongside Offworld, Subject Events and partners to make this club space happen.
SILO already has some big dance brands and artists lined up for its first season with Elrow returning to Dublin for its first party in five years (previously it took place in the District 8 space in the Tivoli) and Claptone, Kerri Chandler and Vintage Culture which are yet to be announced.
