With Donal Dineen’s radio show no longer on the air after 14 years (for now) and with that 900 hours of John Peel shows off Soundcloud, you can get your significant fill of the man’s last three years of Small Hours shows at smallhours.fm where you can download or stream 268 of the shows from 2010 to 2011 with playlists for most.
Bonus: Dineen’s set from Body & Soul 2012 after the jump.

This just made my week!
This site seems to have been deactivated. Nightmare scenario! I should have downloaded them all when I had the chance. Any idea if it’s temporarily closed or moved to another address or what?
http://www.glustech.com/smallhours…the RSS feeds are there but? when I try to open them they crash…I can open other RSS so ? Can you let me know if you have any luck with them. I got the info about that site from donals facebook page which is run by Aoife & is really good too.
Have asked Aoife to see if it’s down.
Thanks a lot guys
Site is still active but on this address: http://www.glustech.com/smallhours/
Hi there. Brilliant site this, really miss the Small Hours! Actually happened to see Donal in Sligo last night. Great gig, chattin him after too and he was such a gent. Just a random question I have: The shows on that site only date back a year, but I was wondering if anybody knows the band that was playing past 2am on the last ever show? Cheers!
Sounds like Niwel Tsumbu for starters:
“onight Mike Scott, Seán Mac Erlaine, Si Schroeder and Jennifer Evans, as well as Madu and Niwel Tsumbu (both of whom collaborate with Donal on his Parish project) will join the presenter, with more friends of the show likely to drop in before it closes down. ”

Ahh the links to the shows are not working. Any ideas? SOmeone help !
This is great but the absolute bomb would be to get all of Donal’s ‘Here Comes the Night’ shows also from Today FM. I wonder if that’s possible ? It could make 2013 the year of inspiration !
