Dublin-based A&R platform Andrson offering €10,000 prize for their songwriting competition
Andrson is a Dublin-based sound-driven A&R platform who are currently hosting a songwriting competition called Uploaded.
Andrson promises to help you “deliver your music to key music executives,” and is currently free to try.
Their songwriting competition Uploaded is asking users to submit songs to a competition.
The grand prize is €10,000 and there is a €2,500 People’s Choice Award and Finalists Awards too.
To enter, you have to sign up to Andrson and upload the songs you want to enter to compete. It is open to any artist worldwide. As always, read the fine print before entering.
The competition runs from June 15th – November 30th. Each month, more prizes will be revealed, and all finalists are invited to perform live in Dublin at a special Andrson event in February 2021.
20 percent of commercial sponsorships and all donations from the competition will be committed to the children’s charity, Make-A-Wish Ireland. – raising vital funds to help grant wishes to seriously ill children.
Andrson’s independent panel of judges to decide the competition come from members of the music industry: A&R, booking, management, PR, media and sound engineers.
They judge each song on the following criteria: music, lyrics, melody (‘songwriting’); structure & composition; originality; commerciality & gut feeling.
There is no fee for entry to Uploaded, the app itself is also free for the rest of the year for artists
