Lyndsey Lawlor is a new 23 year-old Dublin spoken word artist who has teamed up with Kildare producer Gary O’Reilly (Mix & Fairbanks) for her first single.
‘Bottle & Chain’ is the first song from Lawlor’s debut album coming in 2022, and has an electronic backing to match the artist’s stirring words about “personal struggle, alcoholism and envy.”
“As motivation dies with the light in my eyes,
I try to share my pain with the old bottle and chain”
It’s a unique and evocative switch up from one to watch., compared to 2019 debut single ‘Eat The Money’.
The album Dearest Philistine is out on January 12th, and came about with Lawlor locked down away from her band, and creating an entire album with O’Reilly.
