Echo Bar in Bray has closed down
Echo Bar has closed after three months of trading.
DJ/producer’s Mark Flynn aka The Drifter’s Echo Bar, a DJ-focused bar, that serves to address the lack of such spaces in the Wicklow and South Country Dublin area, has closed after three months.
Echo opened in November, with an emphasis on DJ nights with Magnier (House Of Disco), Neil Flynn, Mano Le Tough, Sara Miller, Lil Dave among the selectors.
It’s hard out there for a new business at the moment, including for a niche focus DJ bar in a busy regional town.
On Insta, the bar announced the closure:
We’ve closed our doors.
Hi all, sorry to say that Echo Bar has closed its doors. We had great times, some super nights and oh did that soundsystem sound so sweet!
Thanks to everyone involved who made it happen. Staff, DJs, designers, dancers. Big love 💚
See you all somewhere down the line.
Onwards we go 🚀🔈🪩🔈🚀
