EHCO get glitchy in nature on Whose Side (Premiere)
Wicklow duo EHCO have just released their debut EP OPIA and it’s a cracker of a release filled with spacey electronic beats and polished grooves.
Today we’re premiering the video for the second single from the EP, ‘Whose Side’.
‘Whose Side’ is a dreamy number that builds a moody atmosphere through layering and repeated glitching. Melancholic vocals forge an infectious refrain against a landscape of soft, shimmering synthesizers. Throughout the track, there’s a real sense of progression as each section sees the introduction of a new phase which bubbles under like something on the verge of an emotional explosion.
The video, created by The Loneliest Monk production company, was filmed in different locations around Wicklow and Dublin and focuses on the beauty of nature.
Hear the the OPIA EP here and catch EHCO at the EP launch party this Saturday in Bello Bar.
