Fancy seeing Elton John Biopic Rocketman performed by a live orchestra? Now you can

Luke Sharkey

Riding the gigantor wave of nostalgia for retro rockstars, Elton John biopic Rocketman was a box office smash last year. Racking in a wad of cash and reigniting a love for the British pop icon amongst a new generation.

If you liked the film, you’ll be delighted to hear that it’s going to be performed live in its entirety by a 60 piece orchestra in Dublin’s Bord Gais Theatre on June 3rd 2020.

The film will be projected in ultra-HD onto a sizeable screen while the orchestra plays alongside the score, neato.
