Father John Misty follows his Electric Picnic appearance with a gig next year at Vicar Street on 28th May 2018.

The new album Pure Comedy doesn’t quite land the heights of his I Love You Honeybear album for me, languishing too much in the Elton John mid-tempo orchestral sound for much of its running time. However, Tillman is a top performer when he wants to be.
