Limerick’s homegrown experimental music festival Féile na Gréine has announced two fundraising events in Dublin and Limerick ahead of the big weekender next month.
The completely volunteer-run not-for-profit festival will take place in Limerick city across a series of pubs, cultural spaces, and city streets from August 23rd to 25th, bringing some of the country’s top acts for an immense weekend.
Next Thursday, July 25, Féile na Gréine will head to Dublin’s Button Factory to play the Crowbar Terrace with Post Punk Podge and the Technohippies, Nashpaints, and Aoife Wolfe set for performances over the evening, all for only €12. You can grab tickets for the show here.
If you fancy the trek down from Dublin the following day, on Friday, July 26 Féile will return to Limerick’s Pharmacia, where Just Mustard closed out the festival in 2023, featuring a stellar mix of acts including Casavettes, Péist, Theatre, and Dogwin! Tickets are also €12 and can be found here.
Meanwhile, Féile confirmed that the full festival lineup will be released early next week and that, for the first time since 2018, there will be a €10 charge for only one of the plethora of events as the festival continues the ethos of keeping Féile free.
