Gash Collective, Open Ear & more for new art/tech festival Beta events at Tailors Hall

Beta is “a new festival of art and technology critically engaging with the impact of emerging technologies on society”. which takes place in and around the Liberties and the Digital Hub from November 2nd to 5th 2023, along with NCAD the following two weeks.

Alongside text-to-image software “prompt battles”, interactive installations, workshops, there are a few electronic music-focused events to look out for, happening at the underutilised Tailors Hall, that weekend.

On Friday November 3rd, Gash Collective will present a night of electronic music at Tailors Hall with live electronic sets from Flood Collective’s Doubt, ANIMWAL, Rising Damp and a DJ set of ambient and experimental sounds by polyp beforehand. Tickets from Eventbrite.

The following night, Saturday November 4th, the experimental-minded music festival Open Ear will present new live work from 3 artists – Oootini, Kate Carr and Belacqua. Tickets
