The Dublin/Tipperary electronic duo of Kevin Gleeson and Padraig Ryan as Ghosts have stepped up into release mode with their new WLVS EP. Last week, they debuted a high-quality video for the title track by Gilles Labarbe featuring actual wolves and all. This week, their whole new four-track EP is available and it’s an impressive release. Clearly taking cues from two-step and garage beats and the darker cerebral side of that sound in the form of Burial, the EP’s four-tracks are seeped in the late-night haunting urban vibes that their previous releases have displayed but the execution is smarter this time around, more singularly interesting, particularly on ‘WLVS’ and the synth stank of ‘Escort Service’.
Available on Belfast Champion Sound label on digital and 12″ vinyl.

Wow! That video sucked my right in! The graphics that kept popping up really fit the sound and feel of the piece. Nice Post! I like one of their first lines ‘I’ve been hollowed out, excavated from the inside out” Good stuff
