As one of the biggest music festivals in the world, there’s only one thing which Glastonbury has not done traditionally and that’s live stream the festival to the world.
Sure, the BBC host extensive and varied coverage of all stages on their TV channels and have been doing since 1997, along with more recent live streams of the 5 main stages on their website (amounting to 90 hours of coverage), but you need a particularly good VPN to convince the BBC IP watchdogs to get past it.
Of course, BBC publish highlights on their BBC Music Youtube channel shortly after, but 2024 marks the first time that the headline sets from two of the acts will be live streamed globally to anyone.
This year, the headline sets fromDua Lipa and Coldplay will be live streamed for free globally. SZA’s Sunday headline set isn’t included in the global live stream. If you want to catch them the times in BST are:
Friday 28th June – Dua Lipa – 11pm – 12.45am
Saturday 29th June – Coldplay – 10.45pm – 12.45am
You can watch the headline sets from anywhere in the world from bbc.com/pages/glastonbury-live
