Gold Panda – ‘If U Knew’ (Reprise Long Live Take)
Though I didn’t get around to writing about it in full here, Gold Panda’s Half Of Where You Live, his second album released in June is/was a fine followup to his debut. On November 11th, Gold Panda will release the Reprise EP, a six-track collection of odds and ends: : remixes, demos and alternative takes on 12″/digital through Ghostly and NOTOWN Recordings. ‘If U Knew’ (Reprise Long Live Take) is an alternative version of the album’s last track, built on the same “if you knew how much I miss you” vocal sample. Essentially, it’s a longer version and a good reminder to give the album another listen or five.
Track listing:
A1) Community (Fort Romeau remix)
A2) Community (Album version)
A3) Community (Original demo)
B1) If U Knew (Reprise Long Live Take)
B2) Reprise (T Hemingway remix)
B3) Reprise (Album version)
