Iceland Airwaves announced their first names for the festival in Reykjavik from November 1st to 5th later this year.

Ásgeir plays an exclusive show at Eldborg, Harpa at this years festival. Tickets for the Eldborg show will be allocated on a first come, first served basis from the venue on the day of the show with the date TBA.
Iceland Airwaves expands to Akureyri as well as Reykjavík
Iceland Airwaves is expanding to Akureyri in Northern Iceland for the first time, giving international and local music lovers the opportunity to enjoy the festival in three ways: you can buy a ticket for the whole four day Reykjavík festival (€145/17,900 ISK) or the two day Akureyri festival (€72/ 8,900 ISK), or even do a combination of the two, attending 2nd – 3rd November at Akureyri then flying to Reykjavík for the 4th – 5th November (€130/ 15,900 ISK).
As for just the Akureyri festival across the 2nd – 3rd November, 25 artists from the Reykjavík line-up will be performing with Off Venue bands too and the area has its own blue lagoon. Àsgeir will be playing.
