Indie announces Dance Arena with Jenny Greene, 49th & Main & day-by-day breakdown

Indiependence has revealed its day-by-day breakdown, added a dance arena and some local support for Mitchelstown too.

The festival has added a 2000 capacity outdoor dance arena with Jenny Greene of 2FM, Kelly-Anne Byrne, Tracy Clifford, Stevie G and Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin’ Beats playing.

Declan McKenna and 49th & Main are also new acts added to the already-announced festival acts of Rudimental Live, Bastille, Fatboy Slim, The Academic, The Scratch, Lyra, Pa Sheehy, Le Boom, Soulé, Erica Cody, Wild Youth and more.


Indie 22 takes place Mitchelstown on the Bank Holiday Weekend of July 29th to 31st after two years away due to the pandemic.

The festival also announced a €10,000 sponsorship of local football and hurling coaching in Mitchelstown primary schools benefitting  Mitchelstown and Ballygiblin GAA that will help coach hundreds of local boys and girls over a four-year period.

Day Tickets for the festival will go on sale from Saturday, March 5 at 10am from Ticketmaster.
