Intro: Letters To Fiesta – Manchester high drama pop
Thunderous drums, Kate Bush high drama, reverberating bass. ‘Vampires’ is a sky-scrapping sit-up-and-take-notice epic pop song from a four-piece band called Letters To Fiesta who are Anna-Louisa Etherington (Vox/synth), Tom Brydon (guitar), Andy Fletcher (bass) and Daniel Houghton (drums). They are from Manchester. Tom and Anna have been playing together for a few years and Andy and Daniel joined six months ago. They “bonded over the love of noisy synth and pedals, making a lot of noise, and probably Tom’s chickpea curry.”
‘Vampires’ is the band’s second single and it’ll be out in July. The next release called Tears Apart, a title suggestive of the drama it will likely contain will be coming in October. Two more tracks below…
