Introducing: Loftmind – spaced-out electronic productions
It’s funny how two artists who probably don’t know each other become connected in your brain. I found Loftmind by looking at Ifan Daffyd’s Twitter where he bigged up the Marvin Gaye remix below yesterday. I was poking around the internet to see if Ifan Daffyd has released anything (he has) . In browsing his social network pages, he, in turn, brought me to Loftmind when he tweeted a compliment regarding the remix.
Loftmind are Joel Sinclair & Dom Flint, producers from Leeds who have some free material on Bandcamp for download. Their music swings from blunted spaced productions to instrumental languid hip-hop to skittery experimental beats. There are a few EPs on Bandcamp for download and here’s a few songs from them including the remix that prompted the digging.
