Ireland Music Week announces first batch of international industry delegates for 2019

Ireland’s biggest industry showcase event announces its first batch of international delegates.

Ireland Music Week (formerly known as Hard Working Class Heroes) has announced this year’s line up of international industry delegates. The 5-day showcase event, run by First Music Contact, will provide 50 up and coming Irish acts the opportunity to gain exposure through workshops, networking events and a series of shows which count Irish and international music industry figures amongst the audience members.

This year’s international delegates include Almundena Heredero of Primavera Pro, Dev Sherlock from SXSW and Impala president, Kees Van Reijen. Check out the full line-up below.

Another delegate we want to highlight is Phil Taggart, the Northern Irish radio presenter on BBBC Radio 1 has just released an excellent book, The Slacker Guide To The Music Industry. He’ll be a good source of information for any aspiring musicians or industry heads headed to the festival this year.

Ireland Music Week will run from October 1st to 5th with the live showcases taking place on October 4th and 5th. Tickets, from €27+, are on sale now here.
