John Grant to play Patsy Cline tribute show in Dublin

Avatar

John Grant has been announced for a special show at the National Concert Hall Dublin, where the Michigan singer-songwriter will sing the songs of the late country star Patsy Cline on Tuesday September.

Foggy Notions present the show which was originally commissioned by Factory International for Manchester International Festival 2023, John Grant backed by members of Richard Hawley’s Band will perform Cline’s beloved repertoire for the very first time in Ireland.

John will be joined by a secret special guest to be announced closer to the show… (If you want my educated guess, it could be a country loving-artist with four letters and starts with C? Just my guess though.)

Tickets €35 plus fees on sale Friday 23rd June at 10am.

Drawing from a songbook full of classics like Walkin’ After Midnight and Crazy, audiences will hear the crème de la crème of country pop from Grant. With songs spanning romance, heartbreak, and drama, infused with joy for good measure, this promises to be a sonic and visual feast that will leave a lasting impression.
