Sean Arthur AKA Kobina has put together a fundraising compilation of music from Irish artists to benefit the charity Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, who help families of children diagnosed with cancer.
Sean’s one-year-old niece Nora was diagnosed with a rare terminal form of cancer and it is unlikely she will make her second birthday.
My one year old niece Nora has been diagnosed with a rare terminal cancer, and although her time with us will be short she continues to be the embodiment of joy and love to us all. Her love of music has been evident since early and I wanted to celebrate her in the only way that I know how. All proceeds from this release will go to Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, a charity which has supported my brother and his family throughout this journey. I cannot sufficiently express my thanks and gratitude to the people and friends that contributed to the release, I hope you know that I will be eternally grateful. ”
Sean Arthur.
The compilation features music from Jape, Murli, Arvo Party, Lighght, Fears, Kaya, Breen, Sertone, Moving Still, Polytunnel, Numbertheory and Kobina himself.
