When not making funky disco pop music as Ships, Simon Cullen has been delving into LaserTom, formerly Laser Tom & The Blast Crew, a space-disco project, now a solo endeavour. ‘Call’ is the first single from Laser Tom’s debut album on Nang Records. It features Ships’ Sorcha McGrath on vocals and is an elongated sparkly disco synth groove.
