Lios Festival is a one-day celebration of music, mythology, hip-hop and storytelling happening in Cork this month

Lios Festival is a new small festival offering centred on live music, hip-hop storytelling, art, comedy and mythology happening just outside Cork city on July 22nd.

Lios is a non-profit festival featuring Irish rappers like Hazey Haze, Citrus Fresh, 0phelia, Olympio, 40hurtz and Uncle Zeh performing.

“Our line up is an inspired mixture of artists from all over the island – hip hop from limerick, dublin and cork, a fire-swinging seannachaí from Leinster, exceptional home-grown bands and poets, live visionary art creation, elbows-flying storytelling mythical trad, and a serious team of DJs. The festival will be opened with a brief ceremony to honour the land and the energies. And then we’ll party right into the morning.”

Lios is non-profit, with all proceeds returning to performers.

If you’re interested in attending, tickets are €30 plus fees from Eventbrite.
