Lisa O’Neill announces Liberty Hall performance in February

Luke Sharkey

Cavan native and experimental Irish traditional artist Lisa O’Neill has today announced plans for a Dublin date in Liberty Hall on February 23rd.

The performance will showcase material from her new LP Heard A Long Gone Song, a project which found the artist forgoing much of the electronic production aesthetic her work became known for in favour of a minimalist approach to traditional Irish music.

While a large departure from her previous work, the album still retains an ethereal beauty, filled with flashes of the mystic and seemingly in harmony with the Earthy themes which the songs touch upon.

Tickets at €25+ will go on sale this Thursday from the Ticketmaster Site.
