The Belfast indie alt singer-songwriter Lucy Gaffney is playing a headline show in Dublin city.
Gaffney has been releasing a fine run of indie-pop-centred rock pop songs of late, drawing comparisons to Phoebe Bridgers. Early songs were produced by The Coral’s frontman James Skelly, a band who Gaffney has supported alongside Sorcha Richardson, Snow Patrol, Inhaler and DMAs.
Gaffney’s Dublin show takes place at The Workman’s Cellar, on 23rd May 2024. Tickets go on sale this Friday 12th January at 10am via singularartists.ie.
Gaffney’s latest song is the lilting indie track ‘Locked Up Never Fade’, a followup to the Daydream In Tokyo EP from 2023, and marks more music to come in 2024.
