The Bristol sound pioneer headlines External Sounds’ latest Drogheda night on Sunday October 25th.

Drogheda music collective External Sounds return to Sarsfields on the October Bank Holiday Sunday, October 25th, with Daddy G of Massive Attack headlining a very special DJ set. The night follows their sold-out Irvine Welsh event at the same venue in May.

Daddy G is a co-founder of Massive Attack and a pioneer of the Bristol sound, a role that stretches back to the group’s early days out of the city’s soundsystem scene and records like Blue Lines, Protection and Mezzanine. His DJ sets are steeped in the reggae, roots and dub of his hometown’s soundsystem culture, blended with disco, funk, American punk, old-school rap and soul.

Support comes from his long-time collaborator Count Skylarkin, a Trojan Records remixer, and External Sounds’ own DJ Kellser.
