The Dublin producer Adam Fogarty aka Mathman has announced his debut solo project, his first post Mango x Mathman called it a day.

SK83 – The Prequel is described as a “sonic coming of age tale through Dublin life and the city’s rave culture.”

The album will be released as a 2XLP on Weapon Of Choice via Dublin Vinyl and made available on all digital platforms.

The lead single ‘Show Me’ is also the first track on the album and is out on February 23rd.

The album “promises to be an exploration of shared human experience and the exciting intersection between Jungle, Drum & Bass and Breakbeat.”

Set against an evocative sonic backdrop of jungle, drum and bass and breakbeat, ‘SK83’ weaves an elaborate narrative that captures the essence of adolescent life in Dublin in the late 1990’s. This captivating sonic journey delves deep into the bevy of emotions that color a Dublin teenager’s journey to adulthood – from love and loss, first-time experiences, the pitfalls of peer pressure and the unmistakable pull of the city’s intoxicating rave culture.

‘Show Me’ will be available on all music platforms from February 23rd 2024 and the album is released May 10th.

Pre-order / Buy Mathman’s debut at Dublin Vinyl.

The album cover and an exhibition around the album will feature work by Jacobi Hoff.
