The club night Mother, a gay and straight-friendly dance club has operated out of Copper Alley Night Club for the last six years but this Saturday the venue will host its last one there before moving to The Hub in Temple Bar. It was the only club in Copper Alley.
The move is happening because The Arlington/The Parliament which has been up for sale will refurbish the hotel without a club in the basement.
The new venue, which is hosting Sweatbox and other nights already, will get a bit of an upgrade/makeover to allow for Mother’s arrival namely, from the Mother crew direct making it “fully accessible, ordering state of the art sound systems, extra mirrorballs (obvs), staging for live acts and bar boys who give impeccable service and slut drop your drink straight into your smacker.”
So before that happens, the last Copper Alley dance is this Saturday with Mother DJs Rocky & Ruth.
Mother DJs will also be playing with Grace Jones in September.

The Mezz and The Hub are a known pickpocket hotspot. Just check their Google reviews. Also have the most ignorant and ridiculously aggressive door staff in Dublin. Bad move for a great club night. Sorry
