Music For Palestine fundraiser with Post Punk Podge, T.A. Narrative, and more in Pharmacia
A night of music and solidarity will take place in Limerick this July to raise much-needed funds for the Palestine Red Crescent Society.
On Friday, July 3, some of the city’s finest acts will descend on Pharmacia to play Music For Palestine. Featuring Post Punk Podge and the Technohippies, T.A. Narrative, Jack Brolly, and the PVP, the night is organised by Wired FM.
Tickets for the night cost €15 with all funds going to The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), a humanitarian organisation based in Palestine that has helped with the transportation of aid into Gaza, medical evacuations, and providing social and health care to people in need since 1968. You can read more about them here.
Needless to say, the charity, which is a branch of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), is in need of funds to continue its humanitarian efforts in the face of the ongoing genocide in Gaza that has left tens of thousands dead.
Wired FM’s Music For Palestine is the latest in a wealth of fundraisers for Palestine organised by members of the arts community in Ireland, who have been an ever-strong voice of support for the people in Palestine.
It’s important to use your voice and art to draw awareness to social issues. The more artists in your community that come together the louder the noise. Free Palestine.
T.A. Narrative
I feel it is important for us to come together as a community so that future generations can see that we didn’t stand idly by when a genocide of the Palestinian people was being televised live for all to see.
We can make some difference by getting out and raising money for the Palestine Red Crescent Society who are providing humanitarian assistance as well as health and social services whenever and wherever needed.
Post Punk Podge and the Technohippies
Music for Palestine will take place on Friday, July 5 in Pharmacia at 9pm, and will feature Post Punk Podge and the Technohippies, T.A. Narrative, Jack Brolly, and the PVP. Tickets cost €15 and are available here.
