Maija Sofia – True Love
The Galway singer-songwriter second album released on Tulle Collective, was written in a 300 year old former-yacht club for several months over a lockdown winter. ‘Four Winters’
Puma Blue – Holy Waters
London musician Jacob Allen’s second album of jazz-soul songwriting. ‘Dream Of You’
Natalia Beylis – Mermaids
The Irish musician and sonic artist Natalia Beylis will release Mermaids on September 1st, an album inspired by a CRB Elettronica Ancona keyboard salvaged from a Leitrim recycling centre and an old family photo of her mother and two friends (which is also the cover for the record and informs the title). Bandcamp.
Slowdive – everything is alive
Shoegaze stalwarts return with their fifth studio album, their first since 2017. Slowdive for first ever headline shows in Dublin & Belfast in November. ‘Alife’
Icona Pop – Club Romantech
15-track album of club-influenced pop music from the Swedish duo. ‘Fall In Love’
Speedy Ortiz – Rabbit Rabbit
“Rabbit rabbit” is a superstitious incantation repeated on the first of each month to bring good fortune—a belief practiced by Sadie Dupuis, the guitarist, singer and songwriter of the Philadelphia rock quartet Speedy Ortiz.
Bakar – Halo
Second album from North Londoner indie rock artist. ‘Right Here, For Now‘
Islet – Soft Fascination
Welsh alternative group’s fourth album of experimental rock, psychedelic pop, no wave sounds. Bandcamp.
Pale Blue Eyes – This House
UK alternative band releasing on Full Time Hobby. Bandcamp.
Jeff Rosenstock – Hellmode
Fifth studio album the prolific alternative pop artist in the last ten years.
Royal Blood – Back to the Water Below
UK rock duo.
