Hyperdub electronic producer Sara Chen sings, writes and produced all of latest album SAD, a title with a double meaning of sadness and seasonal affective disorder.
Singing and foregrounding vocals for the first time, Ikonika also writes from the perspective of a queer trans artist, with musical inspiration drawn from African electronic music, gqom, Amapiano, Bacardi and Chen’s Egyptian roots.
“This is an album travelling through seasons in your mind. It’s as close to my final form as I’ve known.”
Pink Siifu – ONYX’!

The experimental noise rapper Pink Siifu released BLACK’!ANTIQUE, his fourth album that sounded like Death Grips jamming with Suicide in a wind tunnel.
This album is billed as a deluxe version of that record, but it’s really a whole other companion / separate record.
Spectral gothic rap, noise boom bap and an air of experimentalism with guests Kal Banx and Armand Hammer featuring, and production from Kal Banx, Hudson Mohawke, Jason Wool and more.
