Secret Life is the new collaborative ambient album from Fred Again.. and ambient composer icon Brian Eno, which was recorded between 4th April 2020 – 23rd December 2022, and released on Four Tet’s label.
SBTRKT – The Rat Road
Producer’s first album since 2016 features Leilah, Toro Y Moi, George Riley, Little Dragon and Teezo Touchdown.

Icelandic alternative artist’s new album on Houndstooth. JFDR says “an album about clearing and healing; like breathing fresh strong air through your old self.” ‘Spectator’
Flume – Arrived Anxious, Left Bored
Another album of off-cuts from the Australian electronic producer made between 2015 and 2021.
Denzel Curry – Live at Electric Lady
Seven-track live collection from the rapper with the Cold Blooded live band.
kwes. – Rye Lane (Suite)
English artist’s soundtrack for the recent romcom of the same name.
Cian Nugent – She Brings Me Back To The Land Of The Living
First album in seven years from the Dublin guitarist and songwriter. ‘High Up Airplane’ is the album’s first taster, and the title is informed by Cian’s time when he moved back into his family home in 2020 to care for his mother Kathy who was then recovering from a stroke and experiencing aphasia, a difficulty with speech. LA Priest – Fase Luna
Sam Eastgate’s third album on Domino of funk, electro-pop music. ‘Silent’
Badhands – The Wheel
Third album of classic-leaning songwriting from Irish musician Dan Fitzpatrick, was initially inspired by Peter Jackson’s 2022 documentary, The Beatles: Get Back.
Durand Jones – Wait Til I Get Over
Debut solo album from the singer without his band The Indications. ‘That Feeling’
The Smashing Pumpkins – ATUM
Culmination of the Rock Opera in three acts series, intended to be a “sequel” concept album to Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.
Adjunct Ensemble – Sovereign Bodies / Ritual Taxonomy
Electroacoustic assemblage by Irish composer and performer Jamie Thompson featuring the work features opera singer Amy Ní Fhearraigh, turntablist Mariam Rezaei, spoken-word poet FeliSpeaks, jazz-punk trio Taupe. Stated references include radical ’60s jazz, cLOUDDEAD, The Caretaker, Scott Walker, Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. It’s released on Diatribe Records. Bandcamp.
billy woods & Kenny Segal – Maps
Maps is the new album from NYC rapper billy woods and LA producer Kenny Segal, their first full collaboration since 2019’s Hiding Places. Maps is a story of the road, or roads, taken and untaken; of living the dream and dreaming of another life. It is an album about trying to find your way home, after making your home wherever you lay your head. Features Samuel T Herring, Aesop Rock, and Danny Brown. Bandcamp.
Conway the Machine – Won’t He Do It
Third solo studio album from the prolific Griselda rapper.
Armani White – Road To Casablanco
Philadelphia Def Jam rapper Armani White has hooked up with Denzel Curry on ‘GOATED’. and had a hit with the song ‘Billie Eilish’. This is his debut project.
Westerman – An Inbuilt Fault
Ahead of Dublin gig this October, London-born, Athens-based pop’s new one was co-produced with producer/ percussionist James Krivchenia (Big Thief). ‘A Lens Turning’
Therapy? – Hard Cold Fire
The Northern alt-Irish rockers cover a Lankum song. No, it’s an album inspired by a line in a poem from Louis MacNeice in his 1931 poem Belfast.
Daniel Luke – Shadow Dance
Debut album from yet another member of the Smith family that has given us Kojaque and J Smith. This one is more on the neo-classical piano instrumental composition line. Bandcamp.
Busdriver – Made In Love
Latest album from the experimental rapper.
Snakehips – Never worry
Wow, British production duo’s debut album. I featured them first here 10 years ago. Features Earthgang, Lucky Daye, Duckwrth, Tinashe, Kilo Kish, Rochelle Jordan, Tkay Maidza, AG Club and more.
The Village Vandals – Vandals
French-Irish duo whose music has indie rap, hip-hop production, and live instrumentation elements including mandolin, release a debut album. ‘Alive’
